ワクチン開発加速：Accelerate vaccine development

ワクチンの開発のスピードが前例になく早い。

ただしインフルエンザと同じように、ワクチンをうてばコロナにかからなくなるわけではなく、抵抗(免疫)ができて重症化しにくくなるということ。

引き続き感染対策は必要。
Vaccine development is unprecedentedly fast.

However, as with influenza, vaccination does not prevent corona from getting sick, but it means that resistance (immunity) is created and it is less likely to become severe.

Infection control is still needed.
