クラゲの毒針の仕組み　#クラゲ：How the jellyfish poison stinger works

クラゲが刺すのは、エサとなる動物プランクトン小魚を動けなくするため。
人間が刺されるのは、たまたま接触してしまった事故の様なもの。
 
毒針が長いクラゲに刺されると、人間は痛みを感じる。やっぱり刺されるのはイヤです。
The jellyfish sting is to immobilize the small zooplankton fish that feed.
A human being stabbed is like an accident that happens to come into contact.

Humans feel pain when a poison stinger is stabbed by a long jellyfish. After all I don't like being stabbed.
