#がん抑制遺伝子:Tumor suppressor gene

ゾウやクジラは、人間が1組しか持っていない「がん抑制遺伝子」を多く持っているため、がんにかかりにくい。
 
この「がん抑制遺伝子」の研究はまだ人間には応用出来るまで進んでいないが、いつか予防に役立つことを期待したいです。
Elephants and whales are less likely to get cancer because they have many "tumor suppressor genes" that humans have only one set.

Research on this "tumor suppressor gene" has not yet progressed to the point where it can be applied to humans, but I hope that it will be useful for prevention someday.
