線状降水帯：Linear precipitation zone

積乱雲が次々と発生して、線状につながることで大量の雨を降らせる「線状降水帯」。

 

熊本ばかり豪雨が多いのは、やっぱり九州山地がある影響か。海からの風が山地にぶつかって、上昇気流を発生させて大雨をもたらす。

 

やはり、地球温暖化の影響は大きい。

A "linear rain zone" where cumulonimbus clouds occur one after another and connect in a linear fashion to cause a large amount of rain.
